Zig Ziglar’s second principle of performance is training. He refers to training employees in a company. However, I want to discuss individual training. Constant learning and preparation are essential to a successful life. While it is necessary for every part of our lives, I will address the work segment of life. For example, how are you going to ensure that you keep that dream job we talked about last week? Dan Miller, author of 48 Days to the Work You Love, says that we are always self-employed and that we may choose to work for only one company as opposed to being an entrepreneur and doing work for many employers/customers. He says that it is up to us as individuals to keep ourselves motivated and equipped to perform our responsibilities in order to keep our jobs. What happens to employees who no longer acceptably perform in their job? They often find themselves no longer employed. It is of utmost importance that we live in a state of constant growth.
