What is your intention? What do you intend to do . . . tomorrow, next week, or when (you fill in the blank)?

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain

This quote came from a book I am reading this week by Mary Anne Radmacher entitled, Life Begins When You Do. Catchy title, and oh so true. How much have you ever achieved by your good intentions? Yes, you may have followed through occasionally, but so often our good intentions get no further than our minds.

Be encouraged by the Chinese Proverb, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

Think of one thing that you intend to do. What is the first step you can take today to make it happen?
