One evening recently I was driving home from work on a rainy day. It had been a pretty tough workday and I had some errands to run after work, so it was kind of late. I was feeling the stress of the day and looking forward to getting home, when I glanced over to the left and there in the sky was the most beautiful rainbow in clear sight. What an awesome reminder of life’s blessings!

The rainbow is a symbol of God’s promises to us. How I needed a reminder on that particular day! God never ceases to amaze me. Just when we start to think those less than cheerful thoughts, He reminds us that He is with us, He is aware. He knows what we are going through and the thoughts we think.

Just as He came through for me with a reminder, just at the right time, He will come through for us in whatever we need. How wonderful to know that we can depend on that. With God’s reassurance, we can trust Him to be there for us just in time.
