For many years I have been at work on this day so my mind was preoccupied. However, on this my first Good Friday of retirement, the meaning of this day has been so very present on my mind. Everything hasn’t gone smoothly with what I have been trying to accomplish today, but I just can’t seem to feel upset about that. When I think of how Jesus suffered and gave His life, intentionally, for me, the minor inconveniences of my blessed life are truly insignificant.
Jesus shed His blood so that we can live our lives with joy, peace, love, enthusiasm, abundance and blessings. He assured us that He would never leave us and is always available for us, night and day. What more could we possibly want?
I choose to celebrate Jesus during this Easter season! I believe that if you will do the same you will also live . . . your life to the fullest.
