The fear of failure is one of the greatest hindrances to success. Some people would rather remain in their unpleasant circumstances than to face the risk of stepping out of their comfort zone into a rewarding life.
Failure, like most things, looks different when you see it from another perspective. Many successful people reached that place in life after experiencing a “failure.” For example, it was the insights learned during his experiences while living under a pier at theulf that later brought Andy Andrews success from his b
ook, The Traveler’s Gift. Dave Ramsey’s success came from sharing what he learned about finances after losing everything. As Alice Walker stated, “Sometimes things go wrong to teach you what is right.”
Why not “fail with enthusiasm” as Mary Anne Radmacher says in her book, Life Begins When You Do? If you do experience what you would consider a failure, enthusiastically look for the lesson to be learned and then put it to use.
I recently saw a post on facebook that was intriguing. It suggested that F-A-I-L stands for First
Attempt In Learning and the end is not really the end, but E-N-D stands for Effort Never Dies. Also, it stated not to be discouraged if you receive “no” for an answer because N-O stands for New Opportunity!
When faced with discouraging circumstances, search for a different perspective. Then you will be better able to live your life to the fullest.
