Do you ever put off doing something because you feel you don’t have enough time to get it done?  Does this action, or lack thereof, result in some things never getting done?baby-step

When I was in college, working a full-time job and very involved in church activities and with family, I learned to make use of every five minutes I could find.  I would sit, and sometimes stand, on the shuttle bus from the parking lot to the office with a notebook in my hand studying for a test.  I would review information in my mind while driving to and from work.  I kept school material with me most of the time so I could put any free minute to good use.  Why?  Because there weren’t enough long blocks of time to devote to study to get it all done.

Exercise is an activity that we tend to not pursue due to lack of sufficient time.  However, it has been proven that short periods of intense exercise are often more beneficial than long periods.  Even professional athletes don’t always have big blocks of time to exercise.  They use 8 minutes or whatever they have and accumulate the time to achieve the exercise they require.

In this same way, we can create the life we really want.  Rather than not attempting the action that would result in achievement of what you want, just begin to use whatever time you would otherwise waste, and take one step at a time toward your goal.  As Zig Ziglar said, “If you can’t take a big step, take a baby step, but take it now.”

What can you do now that will move you toward living . . . your fullest life?
