You see something you really desire to experience in your future. You recognize that you have the talent to accomplish this achievement. Is this a dream or a delusion? Let’s find out by asking some questions.
Do you clearly see the details of this achievement? Can you describe how you will feel once you get there? Is there a plan in place with the steps written down so you know what to do next in order to reach this goal? Or, at least, the first step to take in the direction of your goal? If yes, then congratulations! You are on your way to a dream come true!
However, if you look into your future and just wish it could be different. You would like to experience that change, but you don’t know if it will ever happen. Then, what you most likely have is a delusion. Wishful thinking. A desire that is sitting on the back burner in your mind. It would be nice to have it. You might even decide to try to achieve it one day.
There is a big difference in trying to do something and committing to do it. Trying implies that if it doesn’t happen that you are OK with it. Commitment, on the other hand, says that you will do whatever it takes to see it through.
Dream or delusion? Commitment or trial? Where are you?
Commit to the dream in your heart so you can live! . . . your life to the fullest.
