I enjoy seeing live productions of shows.  And of course, everything is better at Christmastime!  I saw a live production of the classic movie, It’s a Wonderful Life, this year. It is always fun to see how the storyline is tweaked in order to make the movie work on a stage.  But no matter how it is adjusted, the meaning behind the story is the same.

George Bailey found himself at a place where he was not only disappointed with his life, but also felt completely hopeless.  Circumstances out of his control brought feelings of inadequacy and despair.  He learned through the process of the movie, though, that his life was valuable and that he truly made a life-changing difference to many, many people.

That truth is yours as well.  No matter where you find yourself right now, take the time to recognize your own importance.  Look back and think about how the life of each person who is dear to you would be different today if you had not played your role in their life.

You make a difference.  You are valued and appreciated – even when you feel like it the least.

Accept your value so you can live . . . your life to the fullest.
