Sir Isaac Newton’s third law of motion is the Law of Action and Reaction. This law states, “When one object exerts a force on a second object, the second one exerts a force on the first that is equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.”
Now I realize that this is a scientific law of motion. When one object puts force against another, the second object puts equal force back against the first. For example, when a person sits in a chair, his body applies a downward force on the chair. The chair then applies an upward force on the body. Both of the two interacting experience a force.
How about when we interact with another person in a non-physical way? For instance, if we help another person, they will help us. If we cause harm to a person, they will likely push back in a negative way toward us.
Can you see how this law affects relationships? Do you realize how much your interaction with other people, whether close relations or the cashier at Wal Mart, affects your enjoyment of life?
Offer positive action and watch as the reaction changes your world. That is when you will live . . . your life to the fullest.
