A good memory is a desirable trait.  However, forgetting is also a treasure to cherish.

You know those rough patches and heartaches we experience in life.  What if we were not able to forget about them and move on?  How miserable would life become!  If we had to carry every memory of each disappointment and continue adding to that load as things occur.  Eventually life would become unbearable.

You see, memory is about the past.  Holding on to the past prevents us from living in the present and looking forward to the future.

Forgetting allows us to leave the discomfort of the past and walk into the life we desire.

Those tough times, whether brief or extended, are a part of life.  They will come.  We may not be able to ignore every little unpleasant experience, but we don’t have to magnify and preserve it either.

Forget about it . . . so you can live your life to the fullest.
