If you had the choice of suffering disappointment or doom, which would you choose?   A little temporary dissatisfaction, or total disaster or tragedy.  When you look at it that way, the choice is easy, right?

What about when you see the choice as either trying something new with the possibility of failure, or not trying something new at all.  Is the choice still easy for you?

Failure is a word many people avoid at all costs.  Unfortunately for them, the cost is much greater than they realize.  Playing it safe and never taking a risk may help you maintain your feeling of security at the moment.  However, the opportunity cost for that feeling of security is personal growth.

If you don’t take a chance and get out of your comfort zone, you will stay in the same place.  The same job with near the same pay.  The same unfulfilling routine.  The same people in your life who don’t encourage you or support your dreams.

“You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don’t try.”  Beverly Sills

Go ahead.  Reach for that dream.  Take that first step.  Give it your best shot.  Go for it.  You may just see your dream come true!

But, you will never know unless you try.  Try.  So you can live . . . your life to the fullest.
