Well, we talked about Christmas in July last week.  Why not?

Thanksgiving should be a part of every day.  Not the turkey with all the trimmings, though.  The thankful part.  Philippians 4:4 tells us to rejoice in the Lord always.  I Thessalonians 5:18 says to give thanks in all things.

Have you noticed that there are people who seem to have everything anyone would want in life, yet never seem to be happy or content?  Then there is that person who clearly has very little worldly goods, but always wears a genuine smile and speaks of how blessed they are.

The difference?  Obviously it is not the situation.  It is the attitude.  Living with an attitude of gratitude just makes life better!  Choosing to be grateful, even when things may not look so great, can actually even improve the situation.  We tend to get what we think about.  Think gratitude.  Receive blessings.

Thanksgiving in July?  I vote YES!  Be thankful and live . . . your life to the fullest.
