A man shared a story about walking up a mountain path one day.  He met a mountaineer who was carrying an axe.  The man walked with the mountaineer and asked him what he was going to cut.  The mountaineer shared that he needed a piece of timber to fix his wagon.  He wanted the toughest kind of wood he could get.  That kind, he shared, always grows on top of the mountains where all the storms hit the hardest.

It is during life’s stormy times that we grow strong.  We do what we have to in order to survive.  Prosperous times are the ones we need to watch out for.  It becomes easy to slack off and relax when things are going well.

The truly successful people are those who continue to work the plan and perform the day-to-day tasks that bring results – even when they don’t feel concern about their situation.  The determination to do what needs to be done in the good times and the bad times is what brings success.

Keep moving forward . . . one step at a time . . . one day at a time . . . every day.  That, my friend, is when you will be able to live . . . your life to the fullest.
