I recently heard a story told from a wife’s perspective about her husband.  They were with a group of people where a conversation occurred. She knew that her husband was quite knowledgeable about the topic and was puzzled as to why he didn’t join in and share.  After they left, she asked him why he hadn’t contributed to the conversation.  He replied that he already knew what he knew about the topic and he wanted to learn what the others knew.

Are you a talker or a listener?  Do you spend more time talking or listening?

This anonymous quotation I ran across really puts it into perspective.  “When you talk you can only say something that you already know.  When you listen you may learn what someone else knows.”

Listen and learn.  That will help you live . . your life to the fullest.
