Why do we give so much effort to fear? Fear steals from us if we allow it to be our focus. Fear steals our peace of mind. It steals our future. It steals our whole life it we let it take over!
Fear exists to warn us of impending danger. However, most of the fear we experience nowadays is of things that are not real and will never happen. We let our minds go to what could happen, usually the worst-case scenario.
If we are afraid of something, we are less likely to do it. If we don’t do everything we are afraid to do, which usually means anything we have not done before, then we will prevent ourselves from any growth. That means staying the same for the rest of your life. What fun is that?!
How do you prevent living a stagnant life of fear?
Recognize that most of what you fear will never come to pass. It is a waste of precious time to worry about those things.
Don’t let fear of doing something new impede your satisfaction in life. Just do it. Do it afraid. Take the chance. Now I am not suggesting that you just do anything that comes to mind. Use your common sense and choose wisely. But do not let fear of the unknown steal your life.
Choose to hope for the best instead of fearing the worst. That is when you can live . . . your life to the fullest.
