Challenge yourself! My current challenge? Zumba!
I did not dance in my younger years and physical coordination is not my strength. I don’t know the common dance steps like most of the others in the class. Repetition is my friend and a lot of the routines are not repeated many times. I am good with the workout steps because I have been working out for a couple years now, but not so much with the other.
Sometimes when I am just standing there laughing at myself, I wonder why I am putting myself through this. I recently realized why.
It is such a challenge for me and it takes concentration. It is new to me. And, it is fun when I really get it!
As a life and health coach I understand the benefits of keeping our minds and our bodies strong.
Don’t settle for whatever comes along. Find your challenge and go for it! That is when you can live . . . your life to the fullest.
