This plant is thriving now!  My May 4th post shared how I had almost given up on my little plant after I cut it back, but it began to bud.  Four weeks later, on June 1st, I noticed how big it was getting.  The pruning worked!  Look at that little plant today.  Do you see the difference in the latest growth?

I looked over at it while sitting on the porch recently and immediately noticed something interesting.  Not only has the foliage grown much bigger in the past eight weeks, but it is leaning out into new directions.  As it grows, it naturally falls into place just as it was intended to do.

When we take the time for self-examination and prune out the unnecessary pieces of our life, it allows us to have a fresh start and develop into the high functioning person we were created to be.  As we identify our natural tendencies and begin to act upon them, our life extends even more.  The beauty is awesome!

If you look really closely at the latest picture, you will notice the new buds.  As we become more confident and expand our personal horizons, we find new interests.  These areas begin to bloom and life brings even more fulfillment.

Hence, the reason for continued attention to our own personal growth.  Reading books, listening to podcasts, attending conferences.  It is vital to attend to our development.

Maintain personal development activities so you can live . . . your life to the fullest.
