I’m not trying to get too personal by asking your age, but it is a question you need to ask yourself occasionally.
I am often amazed at the difference in people who are equal in the number of years they have been alive. Some are still active and driving in their nineties, while others are immobile and restricted at 55. Yes, of course, medical conditions sometimes cause this difference, but that is simply not always the case.
I’ve attended activities with ladies in the past and made an interesting observation. This group was widely varied in age. Ladies well into their eighties were enthusiastic and energetic. They were the ones cheering on and encouraging the much younger ladies to get moving. The difference I recognized was the attitude. The older ladies were there to have a good time and were happy about it. The younger were complaining, grumbling and dragging themselves through the day.
You can be young at any age. Just like most everything, it starts in the mind. You become what you think. Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.
You do have a choice. Think about what you think about.
Make up your mind to stay “young” so you can live . . . your life to the fullest.
