Springtime is beautiful with all it’s new growth and colorful flowers.  But, this season brings more than sunshine and tulips.

This season brings rain and sometimes storms and sometimes, here in the South, it brings tornados.  We have witnessed that for the past two weeks.

Sounds kind of like life in general, doesn’t it?!  It is not all sunshine and roses.  The stormy, difficult times are simply a part of life.  While the tough times are not the part we look forward to or enjoy, we do receive benefit from them.  Personal growth generally occurs when we are forced to push through and maybe even spend some time in survival mode.  The realization that we survived results in strength for the next storm.

Just as the rain is necessary to get the beautiful colors of Spring, so is trouble necessary to help us better appreciate the good times in life.  Storms and tornados may bring excessive damage and injury, but the good in people usually comes out as they help those in need.  Turbulent storms of life may result in extreme pain and suffering, but we help each other through those times as well.  Not only do we grow stronger, but so do our relationships.

Whether sunshine or rain, enjoy the benefits so you can live . . . your life to the fullest.
