Who is the person in your life who causes you the most trouble? Your boss? Your spouse? Is it a child or a parent?
D. L. Moody, founder of Moody Bible Institute and Moody Publishers, said “I have more trouble with D. L. Moody than any other man I know.” If we take a serious look and examine our life, we will make the same acknowledgement.
It takes a lot of pressure off if we can give credit for our downfall or lack of accomplishment to someone else. However, the emotionally mature person recognizes their own responsibility. We are responsible for ourselves. I am the only person who can change me.
We choose what we do with our day, week, life. Just admitting that fact can be freeing. Making one small decision today can change your tomorrow.
Take responsibility. Choose well. Live . . . your life to the fullest.
