I’ll be happy when . . .   Have you ever thought that?  It will all be good when the babies can take care of themselves.  Oh, for the kids to be teenagers so they can drive themselves to school and activities.  How wonderful will it be when the house is paid off and the kids are out on their own.  Retirement – now that’s the life.  Will contentment in life ever come?

I don’t know of a single person who feels that everything in their life is just the way they would like it to be.

Some people think that money is the answer to contentment.  There are many people in the world who have more money than they know what to do with, but there are other things in their life that are lacking.  Others dream of positive relationships because of so much strife with family or coworkers.  Then there are people with health issues who would give most anything to be well again.

We are not likely to experience the perfect life.  It is the capacity to enjoy life and be thankful for it that brings contentment.  And that, my friend, is a choice.

Choose contentment so you can live . . . your life to the fullest.
