One of the most uncomfortable places to be in life.

The state of indecision is so unpleasant for me.  Especially those big decisions.  Making a major purchase such as a house or a car.  Employment changes.

Sometimes it’s the decisions that appear, on the surface, to be small that really have the greatest impact.  Exercise.  The food we eat.  The people we spend time with.

The fact that we can decide for ourselves what we want is a blessing.  However, with that blessing comes responsibility.  That is the difficult part.  We know that we will reap the results of our decisions.

Indecision has been described like a dull knife that leaves ragged edges.  If we make a decision and move on it would be like the clean and straight cut of a sharp knife.

How do I make those decisions and move on?  First of all I pray and ask God for direction.  Then I act on what I feel is best.  Along with that action I ask God to block what I am doing if it is not what He wants.  There have been times in my life when He did just that.  Although I didn’t understand at the time, later it became very clear that He had a better plan.

Go ahead.  Cut straight so you can live . . . your life to the fullest.
