A lot of people complain that their work is boring, blaming their job for lack of challenge.  No task needs to be considered boring.  There is a hidden challenge within every job.  The challenge?  How it can be done better.

A department store janitor in Canton, Ohio by the name of Murray Spangler wasn’t bored with his job, even when just sweeping the floors.  While working, he was trying to find a better way to clean the floors.  He thought having something to suck up the dirt and dust would be good.  He created a prototype for the first vacuum cleaner.  He then approached a friend who was in the leather business for financing.  The friend’s name – H. W. Hoover.

It’s all about how you think.  Choose to focus on the negative and stay stuck.  Decide to look for ways to improve and move forward.
