Do what, you might ask. The answer is, “something.”
Andy Andrews’ blog post this week is actually a re-post from 2009, shortly after his book, The Noticer, came out. The main character in this book is “Jones,” an elderly man who seems to see inside every situation and exhibits tremendous wisdom. I didn’t realize at the time I read this book that Jones was a real person who Andy Andrews knew and the book was based on the truth of his life.
Andy shared that at a time when he didn’t know what to do, Jones told him to just do something. He suggested that since he could read, he read to someone who couldn’t. Or, he could carry things, so he should carry things for people who could no longer do it for themselves. To quote Jones from this blog post,“Here’s what will happen … By doing something, your mind and heart will remember and reestablish the enormous value you already possess. You will have more energy, more excitement, a renewed sense of purpose—and you will become more valuable!
So do it – that “something” that will move you into living your fullest life.
