I was at a funeral home Sunday evening visiting with the family of a precious friend. Our families have been close for many years, even prior to my birth. This man lived a full life in his 94 years. I stood and watched the picture presentation and was reminded of the bright smile of his wife, who left this world years ago, of how they and their children looked “back then,” and many, many special times we spent together over the years.
Ninety-four years deserves quite a celebration! While celebrating his life, I couldn’t help thinking of my own. When I reach the end of my life on this earth, will there be something to celebrate? Will I feel good about the relationships and accomplishments I achieved? Will I feel regret? Will I have fulfilled my true purpose for living?
Let me encourage you to take an honest inventory of your life to this point, make the necessary changes and begin today to live your life to the fullest . . .
