What a busy time of year! There are so many extra things to do during this season – shopping, wrapping, cooking, attending events. It can just go on and on. After a week of being up too late at night, I found myself feeling tired and even a little weary last weekend. I love the holidays so much, but it is like everything else in life; attitude makes the decision for us of whether we will enjoy the season or endure it.
I had a little talk with myself Sunday morning. My attitude is my choice. I chose to be happy and celebrate what truly matters. I went to church for the Christmas Music and Children’s Program. After enjoying the wonderful service and dwelling on the true meaning of the season, I was feeling very happy and encouraged. Our family shared a special time together celebrating an accomplishment of my great-nephew over lunch at Sumo. When you choose to maintain a joyful attitude and focus on what is truly important, life is awesome!
So what are you choosing this Christmas season?
