All OutI recently reviewed the journal containing my notes from sermons and lessons I have heard during the past few months. I very much enjoyed the classes Chris Pilkerton taught at Winter Conference at the beginning of the year. He suggested that people live one of three ways. They are either a Cop Out, Drop Out or All Out.

Cop Out

The cop out is the person who intends to do something but always finds a reason, or rather an excuse, for not getting it done. They may talk about it and probably sincerely believe they will accomplish it, however, they just never take the necessary action to make it happen.

Drop Out

The drop out takes action and moves toward their goal. They make strides in the right direction and may even get near the finish line. Then they allow life to get in the way and become distracted. Eventually they give up without achieving their goal.

All Out

This is the person who sets his mind, takes action and gives it all he has until it is finished. He is focused, driven, determined and happy. He may face difficulties and time constraints just like the cop out and the drop out, but he works through them and completes the task.

Which person are you? Give it some thought and hopefully you will begin to go all out so you can live! . . . life to the fullest.
