frog
Yes, I ate that frog! You know that dread you feel when you have so many things to do that you can’t even think about it all! That is the way I have felt for the past several weeks. I am very happy to say that many things have now been crossed off my to do list and it feels great!

I read a book called Eat That Frog several years ago. The book suggested dealing with the largest, or most dreaded items on your to do list first before tackling the smaller ones. This prevents that dread from hanging over your head all day, and it also provides momentum for dealing with the other tasks.

That is exactly what I decided to do this morning. Two big items have darkened the page of my to do list for far too long and this was the day to cross them off! The first was completed by noon and the second by 2:00 pm. Additionally, several small chores were done along the way. Accomplishment is so energizing!

Now I am sitting on my porch, one of my favorite places to write, enjoying the opportunity to share with you. Instead of noticing the plant that needs to be repotted and the empty birdfeeder, I smile as I watch the birds at the birdfeeder and see the beautiful plant.

What frog do you need to eat? It is usually not nearly as distasteful as we expect, and the end result is awesome. Go ahead, eat that frog so you can begin now to live! your life to the fullest!
