Do you ever think about why you do what you do? We are all so busy doing all the time. We do and do and the next day do it all over again. Have you ever told someone, or thought to yourself, “I have so much to do?” I find myself living that philosophy far too often.

The truth is that there will always be something that needs to be done. In fact, there are times when I have so many things that need to be done that I must set priorities and do just what has to be done today and then do just what must be done the next day until I am under constant pressure and find myself stressed out.

The most important thing about doing is that we know why we do what we do. What is the big WHY in your life? When we know why, then the what and the when are easier.

For instance, a young mother with small children works 24 hours a day to care for her children. This is physically tiring and constant. No matter how much she loves her babies, this can be stressful at times. In those times she must sit back and realize that her why in this stage in her life is to raise her children. During these young years she may have to say no to other activities that would be enjoyable to her, those things she used to do before the children came along, things that were good and helped others. But right now her why is her children and they are her priority.

So I ask again, what is your big WHY? What do you need to say no to so that you can fulfill your WHY? Discover that for yourself so you can live . . . your life to the fullest.
